It's been that way since I was a freshman in high school. From that first broadcast in a small gym in western Massachusetts to the PPG Arena in Pittsburgh and every game in between, my passion for sportscasting has never wavered.
After four years of play-by-play and television hosting for East Longmeadow Cable Access Television, I continued my education and career at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. There, I spent four years broadcasting the Minutemen hockey team with the student radio station, WMUA. I had the opportunity to call the Minutemen's first ever Frozen Four appearance in 2019 as well as their first national championship in 2021. I dedicated so much time to WMUA and eventually became Sports Producer for the station my senior year.
My time with WMUA has strengthened my love for both sports and broadcasting. I've learned about all aspects of the industry, from play-by-play and color commentary, to on-camera reporting, to behind the scenes work like producing and editing.
WMUA wasn't my only avenue of experience in college. I spent the summer of 2019 with the Harwich Mariners of the Cape Cod Baseball League doing play-by-play and color commentary, where I will return in the summer of 2021! Additionally, I served as play-by-play/color for both UMass Sports Network and American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. I broadcasted a variety of sports which includes basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, and lacrosse.
I'm currently a broadcasting and communications assistant for the Fayetteville Woodpeckers of the Carolina League. I also spend the baseball offseason as a broadcaster for the College of the Holy Cross. Feel free to contact me at my email anytime regarding potential opportunities or questions!
